Assignment 14: Google Sketchup
Google SketchUp is software that you can use to create 3D models of anything you like. A lot of people can use it, such as: architects, civil engineerers, film makers, game developers, and other related professions. It helps architects design buildings and is modeling software that empowers designers to explore their ideas. There are many useful tools that come out of this software– from learning about area and volume to studying building and community design. Theater and film students can use SketchUp to conceptualize their sets. Students can use it to participate in community development projects. SketchUp can help math students at all levels to better understand geometric concepts. It could be used for future buildings to be made, and improving to make learning easier for children. (Geography, 3D models, etc).
